Undergraduate Research Assistant in Computational Biology

Opportunity Description:


We are seeking a motivated undergraduate research assistant to contribute to ongoing research focused on protein synthesis at the endoplasmic reticulum. The successful student will help analyze sequencing datasets generated using selective ribosome profiling, using established computational pipelines. Proficiency in Python scripting and/or familiarity with software for analyzing high throughput sequencing data is helpful. An interest in applying computational approaches to biological questions is essential.
